The Creed of Saintswest #17

I have been told that I can overcomplicate and overreeact in an argument. I pull no punches. I get upset. I get angry. I get distant.

But I don’t stop loving…

Even when all else is indicating that I am going to hate you for the rest of your natural life. Even if I say some things I should not say. If I lock myself inside and try to lick my wounds, I am still a man who loves with every fiber of my being.

Anger does not equate hate, nor joy equate love. Emotions are typically more complex than that and human beings certainly are. But love is love, even when we are angry.  We must practice responsibility in these moments and try to be mindful of others feelings… sometimes even in spite of our own. This is the very creed of Saintswest.
