Howling in the night
Twisted by the light
The moon in all its might
Surrenders to its bite
Vision becomes slight
The air within is tight
All words failed to recite
Both unconscionable and trite
A thought to twist the memory
Attempts to change true history
Malcontent with love’s lost mysteries
Once life, now cast off wistfully
Tears, like shooting stars, do rain
Photos in the mind retain
Floods the heart and starts the brain
To try to understand again
Howling all alone
Twisted by the phone
The moon is bright for none
Without the sunlight that was shone
The light there has all gone
Leaving shadows of forlorn
Tears like acid sear to bone
And wash away what was a home
Beautifu. I loved it 😍

The wailing owl Screams solitary to the mournful moon.
